It had stopped raining by the time we reached Folkstone so we parked near Wear Way and did the Shepway Walk. (We didn't realise at the time but our Roof TV Aerial had hit a tree branch when parking, the aerial cracked and the seal was broken.) This place is where the cross channel electricity cables land, that link the British and French electricity grid systems.
